Logo & Identity Design for Small Businesses in Jacksonville, FL

Your logo is often the first thing a potential customer sees. It shows up on your website, your business cards, your signage, your social profiles, and every piece of marketing you put out into the world. When it's done right, it builds instant recognition and trust. When it's not, it costs you credibility before you ever say a word.

Graphic Jax designs professional logos and visual identity systems for small businesses in Jacksonville and across Northeast Florida. You get a dedicated designer — not a logo mill, not a crowdsourcing platform — who takes the time to understand your business and create something that actually represents it.

A Logo Is Just the Beginning

A lot of small businesses make the mistake of treating a logo as their entire visual identity. A logo is important — it's the anchor of everything — but on its own it's just one piece of the puzzle.

Think about what your business actually needs to look consistent and professional across all the places your customers encounter you:

  • A primary logo — and variations for different uses
  • A color palette your printer, web developer, and social media manager can all work from
  • Typography — the fonts that represent your brand in every headline and document
  • A style guide so that everything you produce, no matter who produces it, looks like it came from the same place
  • Supporting elements like business cards, social media headers, and favicons

That's what a complete visual identity gives you. It's the difference between a business that looks put-together and one that looks like it's still figuring itself out.

What Graphic Jax Does — and Doesn't Do

I'm a graphic designer with 30+ years of experience. What I do exceptionally well is create logos and visual identity systems that look professional, hold up across every application, and represent your business accurately.

What I don't do is brand strategy — the research-heavy process of defining your brand positioning, audience personas, and messaging architecture. If that's what you need, I'm happy to refer you to someone who specializes in it.

What most small businesses actually need is solid, professional design that makes them look like the real deal. That's exactly what Graphic Jax delivers.

How the Process Works

1. Free Consultation

We start with a conversation about your business — who your customers are, what makes you different, and what you want your logo to communicate. I'll ask you to share examples of logos and brands you like, even outside your industry. The more direction you give me upfront, the better the result.

2. Concept Presentation

I'll present 2 distinct logo concepts — each one a different creative direction. You'll choose the one that resonates most and we'll develop it from there.

3. Refinement

We refine your chosen concept through up to 2 rounds of revisions until it's exactly right. This is a collaborative process — your feedback drives it.

4. Final Delivery

Once the logo is approved, I deliver your final files in every format you'll ever need — ready for print, web, social media, and everything in between. If you've chosen the Logo + Identity package, I'll complete all additional deliverables before final handoff.

Why Work With Graphic Jax?

There's no shortage of places to get a logo. You can crowdsource it for $5, generate one with AI, or hire a different freelancer every time you need something. The problem with all of those options is consistency — and consistency is exactly what builds a recognizable brand.

With Graphic Jax, you work directly with one designer who learns your business and stays with you long-term. When you come back six months later needing a new brochure or a social media ad, I already know your brand. I already know what you're trying to communicate and who you're trying to reach. That's the difference between a vendor and a design partner.

Based in Jacksonville, I serve small businesses throughout Northeast Florida with the same level of attention and professionalism that used to be reserved for companies with in-house design departments.
